Apostle Gloria J. Hill resides in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Evangelical Seminary in Chicago to learn and obtain more understanding of Christ, to reach her goal to grow and excel and continue to do the work God has called her to do.

Her work history consists of over 20 years being employed in the medical field. During this period she was able to obtain many certificates. One that was beneficial to her was the one she earned for bereavement. This certificate opened up the door which allowed her the opportunity to utilize her skills in the private sector. She has also received the following certificates from the president/evangelist of faith evangelistic ministries; completed leadership/ministerial classes at the world outreach conference center; conduced door to door outreach in the Harold Ickes housing complex; assisted in the after school club in the Harold Ickes housing complex and she Completed the overview of homeless course that was provided by CESO.

Apostle Hill is the founder of the ministry, “Women Connecting With Life”. This is an outreach ministry that ministers to women who find themselves on the street for whatever reason. The ministry provides toiletries, bibles and prayer to these women. Apostle Hill is a believer of Proverbs 29:18 which states “where there is no vision the people perish”. The vision that God has given the apostle is to build a facility called “Esther House”. This house will benefit many women who are chemically dependent, battered and abused. In August 2000, apostle hill founded the banner of faith ministries. She operated in the office of the pastor of banner of faith until 2011, when she ordained Pastor Terrell Parker as the new pastor.  The ministry is also a member of Faith Ministries Alliance, an organization of churches and ministries dedicated to promoting ministry excellence and equipping leadership to fulfill their God-given vision. God has placed a special mantle upon her life to gather, teach, train and love the forgotten sheep, from drug users to drug dealers and prostitues on the streets. God has anointed her to take back what the devil has stolen.
